Concord SPED PAC Website updates Aug 2005 to Sept 2004

• Updated the Which Test webpage, with the abbervations of the tests, as well as the full names.  That were listed in the International (Orton) Dyslexia Society's newsletter Perspectives.
• Added the NCLB Reading reseach tables and links to the Types of Tests web page.
• Updated our school's Who's Who web page to include the updates emailed to me from special education personal.
  
• Updated Liz's contact information on our Advocate webpage.

• Updated our Sample letters for requesting an evaluation to include Social Skill assessment and add a link to the Type of test web page.
• Updated the wording on the on Mediation webpage, to have where mediation takes place, was easier to find on the page.
• Update our PAC Who's Who page with our new PAC offices for 2005.
• Udate the Law webpage to flag the larger sections that are  refered to more then other sections of the law.

• Updated links to the list of Accommodiations they are now in PDF format, on our Accommodiations webpage.
• Added a link to the Therapeutic Horseback Riding and Hippotherapy webpage to the Therapist webpage.
• <>Updated Concord Family and Youth Services,  that was formally called: Carlisle Educational Institute, on the Local Support Group webpage.
• Added the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA), to the Disabilities Organization webpage.
• Update our Calendar and homepage webpage to brief statement about check back next school year.
• Moved our 2004-2005 presentations to our Past Presentation web page.
• Updated Rocking Horse contact information on Therapeutic Horseback Riding and Hippotherapy webpage.

• Created an Scores Chart  web page and 1 page,  Score Chart Condensed Version, for easier printing, added it to the Types of. Tests webpage.
• Corrected the typo with SPAN's area code,  on the Advocates webpage (thanks to AC for the updates).
• Update our Calendar and homepage webpage to reflect our June event.
• Created an Therapeutic Horseback Riding and Hippotherapy webpage.
• Updated some of the CCHS special education personal, degree information on the Who's Who page.
• Add EmPower definition, to Specialized Methods webpage.

• Updated Arlington PAC, Yahoo email group, and North Reading PAC website on our Massachusetts SPED PAC's On-line page.
• Added more Colleges and out-of-state from the Learning Prep School, College and Post High School Fair, 3/2005 to our LD Colleges web page.
• Added color to the CPS (PreK-8) DOE Summary fro readability and to highlight related issues, CCHS DOE Report summary.
• Created the directions to Willard School , for the Willard Principal Coffee for our Calendar page.

• Created the Recreation Opportunities webpage.
  
• Updated our SPED PAC liaisons new email addresses our PAC's Who's Who page.
• Update our Calendar and homepage webpage to reflect our March presentation.
• Added flyer for our March presentation, to our Calendar webpage.
• Update some schools (new, out-of-state and Charter) on our Specialized School webpage.
• Created new webpage on Mediation webpage.
  
• Created the CCHS (9-12+) DOE Summary using color and to highlight issues parents are experiencing, DOE Report summary.
  

• Updated IDEA-changes webpages with information on changes to law.
• Update our Calendar and homepage webpage to reflect our March events (Alcott principal coffee, and Basic Right workshop)
• Updated the Evaluator webpage to spelling correction for an Audiologist.
  

• Add new links for  bipolar links, 'Helping the Student with Diabetes Succeed' Guide , Executive Function relationship as a disability and co-existence with other disabilities.
• Created a new webpage on Parent Recommended Behavioral Optometrist, Developmental Optometrist, or Vision Therapists
• Added links to our 2004 flyers on the Past Presentations.
• Added 3 new webpages on CCHS Special Education Program Descriptions, Pathways, and Tutoring staff  webpages (Thanks to Harriet Stevens for providing us wih these documents.).
  
• Created the directions to Minuteman ARC new building space on Baker Ave.
  
• Update the Metrowest CHADD information, emoved the link to Concord Family and Youth Services website, was taking us to a prono website.
• Added new section and an related articleon IDEA Eligibility Categories: What Difference Does the Label Make? and What happens if your child is not found to be eligible?, to the "What is an IEP" webpage.
• Updated the MCAS manuals (Spring 2005), on DOE Documents webpage.
• Included a defination and link to the DOE memo, to New Bedford school system, titled Timelines for Issuing IEPs, and added the information about responcing to your child's IEP from the  Reviewing you IEP, to the  Timefactors webpage.
• Updated the State and Federal Special Education laws webpage, for our state regultions to include a short defination of what is included in section and updated the link to Federal manual Implementing IDEA: A Guide for Principals.
• Updated the contact informaton on the Request Evaluation webpage.
  

• Updated the Allergies and Treatments webpage (Special thanks to our PAC members, Maria Tinglof).
• Added morre information to the MCAS webpage.
  
• Added another book to the CAPD webpage, When the Brain Can't Hear.

• Added 2 new test to the Type of Testing webpage, OWLS -  written and oral and TOPL Social Pragmatics test.
• Update our Calendar and homepage webpage to reflect our first November presentation.

• Updated Sudbury PAC link to their website, and Acton PAC website is back on-line,  on our Massachusetts SPED PAC's On-line page.
• Updated the Reviewing your IEP, to include what the "IEP Guide" manual lists should be include on IEP 3 (PLEP B).
  
• Added Suggested tests from the book: Overcoming Dyslexia, by Sally Shaywitz (2003), ( Thanks to Kim in Western Mass for sharing this information on MassPAC yahoo list.), to the Which Test webpage and changed the  name of the homepage to "Test for LD / Dyslexic / Dygraphia".
• Added some more information on Alternative MCAS, to the MCAS web page.
• Added Abby Kelley Foster Charter Public school to our Specialized Schools webpage.
• Update the sample letters to be address to the school principals, and CC the Sped Director on the Requesting Evaluation web page.
• Updated all the Special Education administrators, and some of the CCHS special education personal on our schools Who's Who page
• Added scanned in our school system organization chart, colored in the our Team chairs and added a link to the org chart on our schools Who's Who page.
• Added scanned in Dr. Levine diagram of the Motor System, and added his definition of each to Therapy page.
  
• Updated the definition of Age Equivalent (AE) and Grade equivalent (GE) scores" and article on the subject, on our Type of Testing webpage.

• Updated the Tutors page, remove Mangano's, no longer doing private tutoring.

• Added the new tiny icon to our website, (on the top line with http://), Netscape user will see the icon.
• Added EmPower writing program and Thinking Maps to Specialized Education Methods web page.
• Replaced the link to "WISC IV Q&A" Hartcount and replaced Parent to Parent link on WISC-IV web page.
